How do I burn incense safely?
To burn incense and smudge products safely, you must first have an appropriate holder designed to catch the ash and one that is heat resistant to protect the surface you are placing it on.
Sagrada Madre incense and smudge bomb products can ignite flammable sources so it is important that you keep them away from things like paper and curtains etc. There should be good ventilation and you should never leave burning incense or smudge bombs unattended. Take care as the incense and smudge remains will be hot and can burn your hand.
Dispose of the cooled stick or ash safely ensuring they are fully extinguished, if you are unsure run some water on the remaining stick or ash. Always keep out of reach of animals and children to avoid them getting knocked over. Enjoy the calming and aromatic experience of Sagrada Madre Incense.
How do I light a smudge bomb safely?
Hold the smudge bomb or charcoal tablet with a pair of metal tongs. Light the side of the bomb or tablet with a flame, and hold for about 20-30 seconds. Gently and carefully blow out the flame until only smoke emerges. Place it in a non-flammable and heatproof container such as a purposely made incense burner bowl.
What is fruit upcycling?
